Keenan McKenzie and the Riffers are a swing band rooted in the sound of the ’30s and ’40s, featuring original tunes and tight arrangements from his album Forged in Rhythm. They’ve played events like Camp Hollywood and Lindy Focus, and they know how to build momentum all night long.
Keenan’s dances are always some of the most talked-about nights we host—full of spark, connection, and that feeling you don’t want to end.
Come ready to move. You’re going to want every song.

LESSONS
COMPLIMENTARY INTRO LESSON - No RSVP required. It comes with your event ticket and is open to all.
If you’ve never danced before, start with this complimentary introductory lesson from 7-8PM. You’ll learn some history of the dance, basic footwork and rhythm, and current Swing dance culture so you can dance all night and make new friends. This is a great choice if this is your first Swing dance or if you've only danced Lindy Hop a few times prior.
BEYOND BASICS LESSON: $5, 6:45pm-7:45pm! The lesson will take place at the Carrboro Civic Club-- 108 Bim St, Carrboro, NC 27510 There are going to be limited spots so sign up early. This is a great level for someone who has take the beginner lesson a few times and feels ready for some new content.
Mask Policy
Anyone is always welcome to wear a mask at our events at any time regardless of mask policy.

Tickets prices are lower online, $5 more at the door and there is no cash at the door, cards only
Can't afford a ticket? Send us a note at [email protected] we want everyone on the dance floor and are happy to offer discounts and volunteer opportunities to folks who need some help to join us.
Includes a beginner lesson at 7:00PM.
If you have done the intro lesson a few times this class will take you to the next level. (You still need to buy an admission ticket to the dance if you haven't)
Our bands work hard to keep us out on the dance floor, often making less than they could at other events because they believe in what we do. If you can, show them some love. All of this will go to the band
