TSDS is your destination for community, connection, and a little bit of magic. We promote the joy of Swing dance and Swing music to the Triangle with fabulous events and enchanted evenings, re-imagined.
Saxophonist Dexter Moses is a rising voice in jazz with a sound that feels right at home on a swing dance floor. An NCCU alum and Duke instructor, he brings a deep love of the tradition along with a fresh, joyful energy. He has shared the stage with artists like Branford Marsalis and played everywhere from local clubs to Carnegie Hall, but what really matters is this: it swings.
Join us for a night of dancing with the Dexter Moses Quartet, serving up live jazz that will have you reaching for one more song again and again. Come ready to move, connect, and get swept up in the music.
Come to our dance party to learn about the music and dance of the swing era.
It is going to be a night of fantastic music that you aren't going to want to miss!
